Philly: month 4 (part 2)

Ah, spring break... when all the college students leave town and the rest of us can finally relax.

kidding

currently I am:
-working in an office
-working in a restaurante
-working (volunteer) at the athletic club
-coaching soccer
-getting to know my neighborhood
-getting to know my roommates

Just got a new roommate, Joe, 22. Ladies, he's single and successful! Oh please, I don't want a bunch of girls filing through our house trying to get with him. I'll probably hear it as his room is next to mine.

But most exciting of all, I'm going to be in Chicago this June. Reid, look out! Nick Lloyd, you still out there? and anyone else going to be around? Let me know! This is my first business trip and I'm very excited, but also very nervous. At least my mentor, Jessica, is going as well. If in doubt, I'll just look to her with that expression that says, 'Oh my god I'm going to die!!! What do I do?!'

Philly: month 4

Wow, I've been here a while now!

Time is absolutely flying. I'm working two jobs - one office during the day, one waitressing Thu/Fri/Sat nights. I'm really enjoying both of them, although the hours can be a bit trying. I still have a little bit of time to do what I want, although it's usually limited to just Sundays. I've only been working full time for a week so far, so I guess we'll see what happens after a month.

At least I've been getting out and meeting people, going to concerts, movies, out to eat... and yes, I have a bar (two actually) that I frequent. The bartenders know me on a first name basis and give me sweet deals. Frisbee starts next month and coaching the little 'uns in soccer is on hold at the moment as we're in between seasons. I miss those little buggers!
